Registering to vote only takes 3 minutes. That’s as long as most songs.
So we worked with Spotify to create a ‘track’ called ‘Register to Vote’ that encouraged young adults to do just that. Clicking on the artwork took listeners straight to the registration page on the Gov.uk site.
We got the track added to a bunch of different popular playlists on the final day of registration.
With no money, and voiced by Dave from the office, we hit over 47,000 clicks in a day.
